Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Answer: “I wanted to be a teacher because school was hard for me. I had a few teachers that were role models that helped guide me, and helped me understand what teaching is really about. It’s more about the relationship and mentoring, to help kids discover who they are and what they want to be.”

Q. What is your favorite restaurant in Lake Country, and what do you love there?
A. “I like the wings at Cornerstone Sports Pub & Eatery, and the cheese curds at Foolery’s Liquid Therapy.”

Q. How long have you lived or worked in Lake Country?
A. “I’ve worked here since 2008 and have lived here for two years.”

Q. If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?  And why?
A. “Greece, because it’s on my bucket list.”

Q. What is your favorite movie OR what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?
A. “The first movie I saw in the theatre was Oliver and Company.”

Q. What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A. “Presume positive intentions. The world is not out to get you. Everyone is coming from a place of caring of love.”

Q. What is your favorite music?
A. “I love live music and enjoy the art of music rather than the type of music.”

Q. Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why?  Where in Lake Country would you have lunch?
A. “John F. Kennedy. The first biography I read was about him. I’m fascinated by leadership, not by the politics.”

Q. What is your favorite thing or something unique about Lake Country?
A. “How the community comes out to support others, nothing is more special than the homecoming parade.”

Q. Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?
A. “Exactly where I am now, loving my job and this community.  So long as they want me here, I will be here.”

Q. Even for friends or family, what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A. “I love water, but I cannot go underwater. I have a fear of being underwater and not being able to breathe.”

Q. What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word home?
A. “Family, sweatpants and good food.”

Q. If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be
your co-star, who would you choose?
A. “I couldn’t sit still for two hours, I don’t even watch movies.”
