Mady Lehmann

During Mady Lehmann’s first year in law school, her sister was tragically killed by a wrong way driver with dementia. Her sister, Marleh, was only 20 years old when she passed away. She was attending UW Whitewater and was expected to graduate the following year with a degree in business. Marleh’s passing not only impacted her family, but the Lake Country community as a whole. Marleh was loved by so many people.

Marleh’s favorite phrase was “No Worries. None.” This phrase completely embodied her care free outlook on life. She would never sweat the small stuff. For her funeral, Mady, along with some of Marleh’s friends, created “No Worries. None.” t-shirts for close friends and family to wear. When people started to see these shirts, they asked if they could order one. At this point, Mady saw as an opportunity to continue Marleh’s legacy through No Worries. None.

She got to work designing some apparel, hoping to sell to close family and friends as a way to keep Marleh’s memory alive. Little did she know that so many people, those who knew Marleh, and those who did not, would fall in love with the brand. Since launching in March of 2021, No Worries. None. has sold over $270,000.00 worth of apparel. 100% of all profits go to the Marleh Lehmann Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships for students in need. We give away scholarships to Arrowhead Students that embody Marleh’s legacy, including students who have dedicated their time working with people with disabilities. We also have scholarship partnerships with WCTC and All in Milwaukee. Our goal is to help as many students as possible further their education and set themselves up for success.

About Mady Lehmann

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

My mom, Margo, and dad, Mike, both went to Arrowhead High School and both graduated from Carroll College. My parents recently were awarded the Friends of Arrowhead award for their continuous involvement with Arrowhead school. I graduated Arrowhead in 2016 and Marleh graduated in 2018. My dad is the general manager at Ironwood Golf Course and my mom works in sales at Lakeland Supply.

Q: Please tell us about your life and what you do (whether working in our community, a business owner, volunteer, etc.). How did you choose that path?

I was born and raised in the Lake Country area. After graduating high school I went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I graduated in 2020 with a degree in Legal Studies and Sociology as well as a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies. Then I attended Wisconsin Law School, and graduated with my law degree in 2023. I now work as a family law attorney in Chicago, IL.

Q: What do you love most about what you do?

As both a family law attorney and the founder/CEO of No Worries. None., I love helping people. Although both are very different, I find so much fulfillment helping make people’s lives better. Whether it’s helping them resolve a custody dispute or further their education, I try to do what I can to make people’s lives better in any way that I can.

Q: What was the most difficult challenge in getting to where you are now or in your life?

Going to law school during the peak of Covid, as well as dealing with my sister’s passing, was the biggest challenge that I have ever had to face. No Worries. None. has been such a therapeutic outlet for me, and has let me turn something that was so terrible into something positive.

Q: What are some of your future goals? Do you have anything exciting coming up that you would like to share?

My goal is to continue to grow No Worries. None. and the Marleh Lehmann Scholarship Foundation. I want to continue to raise money and help as many students as possible while continuing to keep Marleh’s legacy alive.

Q: What advice would you give to someone interested in doing something similar to what you have done/are doing?

Don’t be afraid to try something new! I had no prior experience in apparel and the clothing business, but people are so kind and willing to help you along the way.
