YOUNG EQUESTRIAN MOLLY GORDON AIMS FOR STARDOM IN THE SHOW RING!
Molly Gordon was just two and a half years old when she experienced the thrill of riding a horse for the first time, and that thrill has never stopped. She gets more excited every time she rides her pony, Izzy. At a glance, Molly is a typical five-year-old girl in many ways. She gets up and goes to school and then heads to the barn for three hours, which includes a riding lesson and to spend time with Izzy. But this 5-year-old wouldn’t have it any other way. The thrill, however, comes with a lot of hard work and responsibility.
Molly competes against girls twice or three times her age, but that doesn’t stop her. This little girl has won the hearts of many with her riding skills and beaming smile! At the young age of 5, Molly is one of the youngest in her field and is competing in major horse shows. One just has to sit in the ring to hear everyone’s disbelief in her talent, which encourages us all to dream a little more and have the courage to follow those dreams. Her parents are astounded by how rapidly their daughter has grown in the sport and cannot believe the poise and confidence she has obtained.
Molly’s Start
Molly’s dedication and hard work paid off when she competed in her very first two horse shows this year. She had been training with Izzy for months, and her excitement was palpable as she entered the show ring. With a beaming smile on her face, she confidently guided Izzy through each of the classes she entered. You could see the pure joy in her face when she heard her name called for multiple placements, one being Champion & Reserve Champion. Molly was over the moon with pride and excitement, and her parents were just as thrilled to see her succeed. They knew how much effort she had put into preparing for these shows, and they were delighted to see her hard work rewarded. Molly left the show ring with a newfound confidence and determination, eager to continue training with Izzy to compete again in the future.

It’s clear that Molly’s love for horseback riding runs deep, and with her dedication and passion, there is no doubt that she will continue to thrive as a young equestrian. Molly’s mom credits her trainer, Kristin Jungbluth, at Wildwood Farms and her incredible barn family. It takes a village to make sure that everything runs smoothly and they are grateful to all of them.
Molly has also become a brand ambassador for many different brands in the equestrian industry, including LeMieux, Walsh Products, Aztec Diamond, Tech Stirrups, Fleeceworks, Halt Equestrian, ICE Equestrian, EaSt Riding Wear, Essex, and a few others. (Molly’s Mom answered this one)
What Is One Message You Would Tell Others Who Might Be Interested (from Molly’s Mom)
She is creating memories that will last a lifetime. Teaching a child to ride at a young age is an experience that stays with them forever. Be it playing or making new friends, be it the life lessons or acceptance and kindness towards four-legged friends, it stays with them for a lifetime. Molly has also learned a lot about responsibility and it has boosted her confidence. She has been able to meet so many new people with similar interest and we are hoping that they turn into a lifetime of friendships.
