ABOUT DAWN & SCOTT BERNER
Dawn and Scott Berner are an inspiring couple who truly embody the spirit of kindness and generosity. Dawn & Scott have a 44-year-old son and a daughter who passed away at the age of 39. Despite the challenges that life has thrown their way, they have remained resilient and have turned their experiences into opportunities to help others.
Their dedication to helping people on a “Pay It Forward” basis is truly remarkable. Whether it’s handing out $2.00 bills to children or paying for someone’s grocery bill, or taking elderly individuals for errands, they’re always looking for ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
It’s clear that Dawn and Scott value their relationships with others, as they consider many of their friends to be family. They enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and taking rides in the car. These simple pleasures are a testament to their appreciation for the beauty of life.
Their nicknames, Grandma and Grandpa Mobil, speak to the warmth and love that they exude. It’s clear that they are beloved members of their community, and their kindness and generosity have undoubtedly touched countless lives.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have a career in IT working on the Helpdesk. Dawn is enjoying retirement. She helped people daily in retail and customer service. In either position, being able to help is rewarding.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still living right where we are and still paying it forward.

25 years in Oconomowoc, 65 in the Lake Country area.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We like the activities. As a joke, we say “When someone house trains their dog, Oconomowoc has a parade”. We love it!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Treat people like you want to be treated. Be kind and courteous. Respect others.

There was a day named after me in the State of Wisconsin- October 30th, 1985. Scott Allen Berner Day!
