About Jim “Jimbo” Bergman-LaVoi
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have three siblings who all attended Arrowhead and my mom and stepdad were involved in the community and currently live in Hartland. I have two daughters, Abby, 23, who attended St. Charles and Arrowhead and Emma, 21, who attended Hartland North, South, and North Shore and Arrowhead. Abby graduated from UW-Madison and Emma graduates from The University of Minnesota this year. They are my pride and joy.
Q: Please tell us about your life and what you do (whether working in our community, a business owner, volunteer, etc.). How did you choose that path?
I coach football under Tom Taraska and basketball under Craig Haase for AHS and started the Arrowhead football golf outing. I also am involved in fundraising for Arrowhead and the community and have helped raise money for the football stadium, the weight room, and the score board. Also, I’ve helped raise money for community members in need. I also organize community activities such as arranging for the fire trucks to come to Arrowhead during football games and when teams head to state championship games. I chose this path because I love the Hartland community and have seen it grow for the last 44 years. This path chose me.

Nice To Meet You:
I believe in positively impacting my clients and the community I live in, which is why I jumped at the chance to be an ambassador with “The Faces of Lake Country”. It’s a perfect blend of why I enjoy being a Realtor with Shorewest, Realtors, and everything I love about living in Lake Country.
I truly enjoy being a part of this community and helping others along the way. Prior to real estate, I was an Office Supervisor for the City of Waukesha Park & Recreation Department. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with many business owners and serve the general public. It was there that I realized that it really does take a village to make a community great and each and every one of us plays an important role.
