About Tyler Reed

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

My wife, Carly, is the heart of our home and the one who keeps everything running smoothly. We’re blessed with five amazing kids: Colette, our oldest at 8; Cael, who’s 6; Tinsley, 5; Tytus, 3; and our youngest, Truman, who is just 7 months old. Life is full, busy, and incredibly rewarding!

Q: Please tell us about your life and what you do (whether working in our community, a business owner, volunteer, etc.). How did you choose that path?

I am a chiropractor at LiveFree Health and have been in private practice for over 12 years. My journey began in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where I owned and operated my first clinic alongside my amazing wife, Carly. In 2019, we relocated to beautiful downtown Delafield to open LiveFree Health and continue serving our community with personalized care. As a lifelong athlete—playing football and wrestling at the collegiate level—I relied on chiropractic care to recover from injuries and maintain peak performance. These experiences sparked my passion for chiropractic care and inspired me to pursue a career where I could deliver the same transformative care that made such a difference in my own life.

In addition to general chiropractic care, I specialize in neuropathy treatment. I’m deeply committed to helping those struggling with burning, pain, tingling, numbness, and balance issues find relief and renewed hope—especially for those who feel like they’ve run out of options. Seeing lives transformed through holistic care is the most rewarding part of what I do.

Q: What do you love most about what you do?

When we meet patients who feel like they’ve “tried everything” and are at the end of their rope—frustrated, hopeless, and searching for answers—there’s nothing more rewarding than creating a plan that transforms their lives. Seeing them regain their health, confidence, and a renewed energy for life is truly the best feeling in the world.

Q: What was the most difficult challenge in getting to where you are now or in your life?

I would say the biggest challenge is being satisfied with our impact in the community. I feel blessed with a platform, the training, and a God-given ability to help others, and I’m committed to using it to make a difference. At LiveFree Health, our vision is to positively impact as many lives as possible within our Lake Country communities, striving to make it the healthiest region in the nation. As Theodore Roosevelt said, “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” While our goals may be ambitious, we believe they are worth every effort.

Q: What is the most rewarding part?

It’s truly incredible to witness someone transform from feeling sad and overwhelmed by their health struggles to becoming a completely new person in just a few visits or months—depending on the condition being treated. The reward from seeing this is nothing short of amazing!

Q: What are some of your future goals? Do you have anything exciting coming up that you would like to share?

Many exciting things are coming for LiveFree Health. We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in downtown Delafield to start in January 2025! This stunning, modern clinic will be fully equipped with the latest tools to address even the most challenging health conditions. Be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates on upcoming events at our new space. Our goal is to create the ultimate environment for patients to receive the highest quality natural care available. Q: What advice would you give to someone interested in doing something similar to what you have done/are doing?

My advice would be to experience it for yourself as a patient and behind the scenes as well. If you’re considering a career in natural healthcare—whether it’s chiropractic, physical therapy, naturopathy, or something else—we invite you to come shadow us for a day! We’d love to show you what we do and offer any guidance along the way. My amazing staff will also be available to answer any questions and share insights about the field. Let’s connect and help you explore this rewarding career path!

Tyler Reed & Our Community

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community, favorite thing to do, or something unique about our community that you love? (Feel free to share as much as you’d like!)

I truly appreciate how down-to-earth everyone is in the Lake Country area. The people here are truly unmatched. We also love the wide range of community events that take place throughout the year—there’s always something exciting happening. The Lake Country area really knows how to bring people together and create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere!

Q: Who is an interesting person you’ve met here in our community, and how have they inspired you?

There are so many. Hard to single out just one- Erika Altruether, Ben Askren, Jack Demski, Jacob Baxter, Carter Stephenson and I should keep going for fear of leaving out 20 people who I see doing amazing things. I see so many successful people in the area creating a positive impact. There is always something to be learned.

Q: Do you have a favorite coffee shop, cocktail shop, or restaurant?

Reveres Wells Street Tavern, Belfre Kitchen, Lago Su Bella, Kurt’s Steakhouse, Delafield Brewhaus. Contento… I think the best answer would be “no”, but because there are so many incredible options.

Q: What 3 words would you use to describe our community?

Scenic, vibrant, welcoming.

For Fun

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

My wife and I have had the unique and beautiful experience of five home births. Yes, some may call us “crazy”, but for us, it was an incredibly fulfilling and empowering journey. Each birth was a deeply personal experience, filled with love, trust, and the support of each other. We feel truly blessed to have been healthy and able to take this opportunity to bring our children into the world in such a meaningful way. The bonds we’ve formed as a family, and the memories created during those moments, are something we’ll cherish forever.

Q: What is your favorite book, TV show, movie, poem, or song? Why?

TV Show: It’s been around a long time, but “Survivor”…. My wife and I watch this together and I think it would be awesome to try to be out there someday.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

My wife inspires me every day to be better. Her incredible strength, compassion, and dedication to our family motivate me in ways I never imagined. She manages the beautiful chaos of our five kids with such grace, always putting their needs first while nurturing their individual personalities and dreams. Watching her handle everything—from the daily routines to the special moments with each child—fills me with awe. Her patience, love, and tireless commitment to our family remind me daily of the importance of being present, loving deeply, and striving to be the best version of myself. Her ability to balance it all and still show up with a smile encourages me to keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges we face. I’m beyond grateful to have her as my partner and the heart of our family.

Q: If you were a drink (can be a coffee drink, alcoholic, non-alcoholic, etc.), what would you be?

An Old Fashioned.

Q: If you could have lunch with anyone, who would it be with? Why?

I’d have lunch with Alex Hormozi because his insights on business, personal growth, and success are incredibly valuable. His approach to scaling businesses, his no-nonsense mindset, and his ability to distill complex concepts into actionable advice are things I deeply admire. Alex’s story of starting from scratch and building successful ventures resonates with me, as it highlights the importance of hard work, perseverance, and continuous learning. I’d love the opportunity to learn from his experiences, pick his brain about entrepreneurship, and gain inspiration to push myself further in my own journey.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

One of my bucket list items is to visit Greece with my wife. The rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture have always fascinated me. From exploring the ancient ruins of Athens to relaxing on the beautiful beaches of the Greek islands, I’m eager to experience it all. The opportunity to immerse myself in such a historically significant place, while enjoying the incredible food, architecture, and warm Mediterranean hospitality, is something I’ve always dreamed of. It’s a chance to connect with history, experience natural beauty, and create unforgettable memories with those I love.

Q: What makes you the happiest?

Being with my family makes me happiest because they are my source of joy, support, and unconditional love. There’s something incredibly special about sharing moments with those who truly know and understand you. Whether it’s laughter around the dinner table, creating lasting memories on trips, or simply enjoying each other’s company, family brings a sense of belonging and peace that nothing else can match. They motivate me to be a better person and remind me of what truly matters in life. The love and connection we share is a constant source of happiness and fulfillment.

Q: Any general life advice you would like to share?

Positivity is not about ignoring the challenges, but about choosing to focus on the possibilities. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and always try to see the silver lining. Life will inevitably throw obstacles your way, but how you respond shapes your journey. Cultivate a mindset that focuses on what can be learned and how you can evolve from every experience. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and seek out the good in every situation. Small, positive actions compound over time and can transform not only your life but also the lives of those around you. Stay grateful, stay curious, and keep moving forward with optimism.
