I am honored to introduce Lisa O’Hern to all of you. Lisa is not only a graduate of Pewaukee Public Schools, but she is also a teacher at Horizon Elementary. She has been shaping the lives of students, her school and her community for the past 31 years.
Meet Lisa O’Hern
Lisa O’Hern is Pewaukee through and through! She grew up in the Hansen family home on Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, and currently lives 3 blocks up the street! Lisa attended Pewaukee School District and walked to and from school every day and most days walked home for lunch as well. She played volleyball and basketball in high school and was in the band and choir. Her children attended PSD and one of her grandsons attends Horizon School.
Lisa is known for her initiatives and her compassion. She is also known as the fund-raising queen. She has raised money by collecting soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, making blankets for the Christmas Clearing Council, selling Smencils for a local family in need, and has her students send Valentine’s Day Cards to senior citizens in the local nursing homes.
In addition, Lisa also believes in teaching life skills to her students. These skills include caring, kindness, tolerance and respect for others.
Lisa loves to make learning fun and from time to time can be seen singing and dancing in her classroom.
Outside of the classroom, you can find Lisa wearing the crossing guard uniform and directing traffic for the summer school program, while taking on the role of Associate Principal.

Donald Driver – I loved to watch him play and I love how he pays back to organizations and the state. We would go to Docs for pizza.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Pewaukee Lake is something that most residents take for granted, but not everyone can drive to the store and pass a beautiful lake with wonderful sunsets.

Retired and volunteering, fishing and gardening.
