About Alicia and Jeff Stoll
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Jeff and Alicia live on a farmette with their 3 dogs, chickens and the newest additions, 2 goats, Agnes and Leo.
Q: Please tell us about your life and what you do (whether working in our community, a business owner, volunteer, etc.). How did you choose that path?
Jeff’s longtime dream was to become a restaurateur. After working in the trades, he was given the opportunity to start what is now known as Stolley’s Hogg Alley. Having served on the Delafield Chamber of Commerce board for over a decade, including Vice President and past President positions during his membership, has allowed for him to connect with the community. Some of Jeff and Alicia’s volunteer work has included: Breakfast with the Reindeer; Halloween in Delafield; Delafreeze; DelaSpring; and, they are most known for their involvement in the Delafield Block Party where Stolley’s Hogg Alley serves up some of their signature dishes.
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
Jeff thoroughly enjoys being able to cook for his customers along with the comradery he has with his staff. He also appreciates the relationships he has been able to build with his vendors over the past 17 years. His role as owner and cook affords him the ability to offer personalized service to his patrons, which he enjoys most of all.
Q: What was the most difficult challenge in getting to where you are now or in your life?
Jeff and Alicia had many obstacles with the recent renovation of their business. Taking it from a successful business with an aging building to a new state-of-the-art Lake Country destination was a long road but was officially re-opened earlier this year.
Q: What is the most rewarding part?
With the recent remodel, there was nothing more rewarding than seeing their vision come to life. The positive feedback they’ve received from the community has been more than they could ask for.
Q: What are some of your future goals? Do you have anything exciting coming up that you would like to share?
To continue offering employment to our community residents and support our local chamber and Lake Country area, while raising funds for organizations such as Make-a-Wish, Kyle Hahn Motorcycle Awareness, HAWS, Children’s Hospital and local youth programs.
Q: What advice would you give to someone interested in doing something similar to what you have done/are doing?
Jeff and Alicia would tell anyone looking to get into the hospitality industry to be sure they have a solid foundation and a passion for what they do.
